Jon Servidad

If there is such a thing as a born Entrepreneur then I am one. I am Jon Servidad. I started my first, very lucrative, business at age 5.  I was born in the small village of Mayantoc Tarlac and since we were the first family to have refrigeration, I developed the business of selling “Ice Candy” to my friends and neighbors.  I was 5 years old at the time and ever since then I have eagerly developed many successful businesses. At age 12, I was living in Vancouver BC Canada where I started a recycling business, recruiting my friends to collect bottles, cans, and cardboard which we turned into cash at the recycling depot. By age 17, I set my sites higher and so I developed the business of “Mr John” toilet bowl and restroom cleaners. In this business I also recruited my friends to do the work, and I had such prestigious clientele as McDonalds in Vancouver BC  Canada. Yes, the real McDonalds with the golden arches. I love what I do and I always strive to inspire everyone I come into contact with to reach for the stars, to elevate themselves to higher positions in life, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I am a proud husband and the father of a 5 year old golf prodigy, I like to say it runs in the family. My favorite quote is by Robert Kiyosaki “How can I do what I do for more people for less work and for better prices.”

Jon Servidad has launched many successful business including importing such items as, specialty paper from Taiwan, porcelain and ceramic vases from China, and Hip Hop clothing from Hong Kong. He has also been involved in the small businesses of coffee shops and corner store groceries, as well as being a restaurateur. Jon created a Janitorial business which he likes to use to help new immigrants get a friendly start in this country. Jon now has Real Estate investments in British Columbia Canada and is currently the owner of Oxford Homecare Solutions. Jon has been in the homecare industry since 1990.

As a prerequisite to starting his homecare business Jon acquired training in the Care Aide and Nursing disciplines, as well as gaining work experience as an orderly for the George Pearson Rehabilitation Center in Vancouver BC Canada. Jon acquired his marketing and sales training at Douglas College and Langara College in British Columbia Canada. He also has extensive training in customer service and sales management. Many of Jon’s family members are employed in the Health Care industry, as doctors, nurses, and care aides. Jon attributes his love and caring attitude towards the elderly to his grandmother, who, when Jon was a small child, would take him to the open market in their village to sell vegetables. She was truly the first entrepreneur of the family.
